The Marin County Board of Supervisors is going to hear an update about the parking situation at the Muir Woods National Monument. Officials and representatives at the U.S National Parks Service will give a presentation to supervisors at a meeting on January 25th. County officials said yesterday that the National Park Service and Marin County are committed to a phased elimination of parking outside of the monument’s boundaries. Twice a year, supervisors get an update about the park’s long-term sustainability plan and its parking reservation system.
