California is due to receive another $600-million in wildfire relief funds from the federal government. Vice President Kamala Harris made the announcement Friday. It’s part of one-and-a-third billion dollars the government is allocating to help local governments clean up hazardous materials and to help forests recover from wildfires. The Golden State is also receiving $48-million dollars from the government to build more firebreaks in two national forests.
