Has Omicron reached its peak in Sonoma County? On Friday, county health officials reported a pandemic high of 26,893 active cases. The next couple of days saw a slight drop in active cases… that number is now below 24,000. It’s important to note, though, that the surge is not over as active cases are still four times greater than last January’s peak. Five more covid related deaths were reported on Friday bringing the death toll to 445.
