Burnt Tunstall House (Petaluma Fire Department)

One of Petaluma’s oldest homes has been completely destroyed after an early morning fire. The fire department said the Tunstall House was covered in flames just before five am Monday morning. The abandoned house was a complete loss, and suffered around $100-thousand in damages and caused SMART train delays. There have been more than 70 calls to police in the last year, on a variety of complaints related to homeless squatters at the house.
