Sonoma County is accepting applications for $34-million in funding through the American Rescue Plan Act. The money will address community needs and target specific segments of the population hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will include direct financial assistance to low-income residents for basic needs, and for small businesses and non-profit organizations. The funding will also assist with childcare, educational disparities, housing and shelter, and mental health services. The deadline to file an application is April 7th.
