One of Sonoma County’s legacy cannabis companies is merging with a Southern California retail dispensary chain. Santa Rosa’s CannaCraft is merging together with a San Diego-based dispensary chain with seven retail locations in San Diego and Imperial Counties, according to Forbes reporter Jackie Bryant. The merger with March and Ash was confirmed this week, after at least 6 months of preparation to combine the two cannabis companies. The move will allow CannaCraft to have built-in retail storefronts for their various brands, including Care By Design, Farmer and the Felon, and AbsoluteXtracts. The new company is being overseen by Groundwork Holding Inc. and both March and Ash and CannaCraft will retain their current organizational structure. The companies say this confirms their commitment to remain a privately held company and to remain in the California cannabis market.
