Sonoma County officials are seeking the public’s input on a proposed expansion of the Graton Resort and Casino. The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria announced the proposal (or Notice of Preparation) earlier this month and a comment period is now open until May 4th. The County of Sonoma is seeking the public’s input to inform its own comments. The proposal includes an approximately 144,000-square-foot casino floor expansion, a new five-level, 221-room hotel wing, a new five-level parking structure, a 3,500-seat theater, an expanded swimming pool area, a rooftop restaurant, as well as an additional water tank and central plant.
