A man is behind bars in connection with Monday afternoon’s stabbing attack that left a woman dead at a home in southwest Santa Rosa. Yesterday, police identified the suspect as the victim’s brother-in-law, Varinder Singh. Investigators say the two lived together at the home. Santa Rosa police say the attack followed an argument. Singh allegedly attacked the woman inside the house then continued to do so as she ran outside to the front yard in an attempt to escape. The suspect, who has no prior criminal history, is due in court today.
