Trellis lane fire (Petaluma Fire Department)
Four people in Petaluma have been displaced due to a house fire. Last Thursday night, a structure fire was reported on the 1500 block of Trellis Lane. The first arriving firefighters found heavy fire coming from the front and rear of the house. The four people living there had evacuated by the time firefighters arrived. The fire was contained with damages estimated at $300,000, with damage to all interior spaces of the home, the attic, garage and rear of the structure. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
