The Cloverdale Unified School District has released the details of its settlement with former Washington Middle School Principal Mark Lucchetti. Last Monday, the district agreed to pay Lucchetti his full teacher’s salary for the rest of the school year and a lump sum that covers his health and welfare benefits for the year as well. In return, Lucchetti is submitting his irrevocable resignation and releasing all claims against the district. Lucchetti was investigated then placed on administrative leave in February, after being accused of failing to properly report and investigate teachers accused of misconduct. The 27-year educator was then demoted from administrator to teacher.
