Vanessa Fuchs (Sonoma County)
Sonoma County has named its next chief probation officer. Vanessa Fuchs, a 24-year veteran of the county probation department, will be sworn-in in one week. Fuchs will take over for current Chief Probation Officer David Koch, who will retire at the end of October. The 46-year-old Fuchs, who graduated from Sonoma State University, most recently worked as deputy chief probation officer.
