Most Californians are pessimistic about the economic future. That’s according to a new statewide survey from the Public Policy Institute of California. It said about 70-percent of residents think the state economy won’t do so well next year. A third of respondents said they have cut back on food to save money and more than half are saving on gas by driving less.
