Sebastopol Fire Chief Bill Braga (City of Sebastopol)
Sebastopol Fire Chief Bill Braga will retire this Saturday. His retirement will mark the end of 37 years with the department, more than eleven of which were spent as chief. Braga started as a volunteer firefighter in Sebastopol in 1985. He has been in charge during several disasters, including the Kincade Fire, and a huge flood nearly four years ago. Before becoming a firefighter, Braga spent two years as a Sebastopol police officer.
