Discussions Ongoing for Further Routes Through the Sonoma County Airport But Nothing Concrete

Nothing new on the horizon for new destinations out of the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport. That’s the word from airport manager Jon Stout who spoke with KSRO’s The Drive. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t discussions.
“We do continually talk to partners and other airlines for new opportunities,” says Stout. “We’re targeting Boise, Tuscon, Chicago, and, of course, we want Denver back.”
United Airlines pulled service to Denver during the pandemic and has since stopped all service through the airport last October. Stout says that it does get tougher getting flights to and from the east coast due to runway size at STS.
