A temporary fix will allow people to drive in and out of an RV resort in Mendocino County. Crews will build a temporary bridge over a large sinkhole on a private road leading to the Creekside Cabins RV Park and Resort. The sinkhole opened in late December, and has since stranded about 50 residents and guests of the cabin and RV resort. Heavy rain and flooding made the sinkhole grow to the size of the width of the road about two weeks ago. The bridge is scheduled to be installed this Tuesday, January 24th.
