A man is suing a hotel in Napa after getting infected with Legionnaires Disease last July. The lawsuit is against Embassy Suites Napa Valley, which is owned by Hilton. Back in August, Napa County health officials detected high levels of the bacteria that causes Legionnaires’ at the hotel. The disease outbreak infected at least a dozen people in Napa and it actually killed one person. The man says he was infected while having dinner a mile away from the hotel. He believes he inhaled contaminated, aerosolized water droplets that spewed out from the hotel’s cooling tower.
