If you live in Sonoma County, you still aren’t eligible to apply for federal disaster assistance after our storms and flooding of December and January. Sonoma County Emergency Management Director Chris Godley says FEMA is still reviewing whether our county will qualify. People who live in Mendocino County are eligible for FEMA assistance. Mendocino was one of five counties in California added to the list last week. President Biden approved a major disaster declaration on January 14th, but only for select counties.
