California Senator Dianne Feinstein is in the hospital. She’s being treated for shingles in San Francisco and expects to make a full recovery. She says she was diagnosed during recess last month and hopes to return later this month. The 89-year-old recently confirmed she’s retiring at the end of her term next year. Several House members are vying for her seat including Katie Porter, Adam Schiff and Barbara Lee.
