US Drought Monitor: Sonoma County No Longer in Drought

Most of Sonoma County is no longer considered to be in a drought after what’s been an exceptionally wet winter. That’s according to the latest updated map from the U.S. Drought Monitor. Only the northeast corner of Sonoma County is still considered to be in a moderate drought. The Bay Area and about 89-percent of Sonoma County is now considered to be in “abnormally dry” conditions, but no longer in a drought.
