The state is taking another step forward in the pandemic. Mask mandates in all health care settings will end next month. This goes for workers, patients and visitors. Correctional facilities and homeless shelters across California will also do the same as of April 3rd. Meantime, starting one week from today, people who test positive for COVID may end isolation after five days if they feel well and have no fever for 24 hours.
