Petaluma Police arrested a man with a handgun and fentanyl who fled from a court hearing. Dustin Breeden of Petaluma had an active warrant for felony Domestic Violence and Dissuading a Witness. He was under surveillance for several days until he came out of his residence Friday afternoon. Officers tried to take him into custody which resulted in a foot chase. Breeden attempted to jump a fence to the rear of a residence in the 700 block of Madison when police converged on him and forcibly removed him from the fence and took him into custody. Police found a loaded 9mm handgun and 10 grams of fentanyl on him when they arrested Breeden.
