Another Major Rain Storm Hitting the North Bay Starting Thursday

Another atmospheric river is expected to make landfall in the North Bay tomorrow, prompting new concerns about the Russian River flooding. The storm will likely bring two to three-and-a-half-inches of rain to the valleys and three to six inches of rain to the mountains. Strong winds are also in the forecast. The National Weather Service expects the storm to arrive late tomorrow morning and intensify into the afternoon and early evening. A flood watch will be in effect for the Bay Area between Thursday afternoon and Sunday.
