Knife found at Amarosa Academy (Santa Rosa Police)
More parents in Santa Rosa are on edge after another school scare. Police arrested a student for allegedly bringing a large hunting knife to Amarosa Academy on Tuesday. The 15-year-old’s backpack was checked that morning, per policy, and the knife was reportedly hidden in the plastic lining of a binder inside. This comes a week after a 16-year-old was stabbed to death during a classroom fight at Montgomery High School.
