Protesters are speaking out again the Palms Inn of Santa Rosa. On Thursday, a couple dozen protesters marched from Prince Gateway Park to the Palms Inn advocating for changes at the converted motel turned housing facility. They spoke out against the poor conditions at the Palms along with increased drug-use, crime, and deaths. The owner, Akash Kalia, tells the Press Democrat he’s working to reduce crime and poor living conditions and says that the high numbers of deaths at the facility is “grossly inaccurate.”
