Former Napa Winery Driver Arrested For Taking Former Employer’s Wine

A former wine delivery driver was arrested in Napa County on suspicion of stealing $10,000 worth of wine. Last week, Jose Humberto Martinez stole a van full of wine from his former employer, an undisclosed winery. Martinez reportedly holding onto the wine as part of an effort to get his final paycheck. The Napa County Sheriff’s office stepped in and retrieved the wine and the van and returned it to the owners. Martinez was arrested on suspicion of grand theft as well as taking a vehicle without consent and receiving stolen property.
