Felon Arrested for Guns and Drugs Possession Near Santa Rosa School

A convicted felon has been arrested after being found with drugs and loaded guns near a Santa Rosa school. Deputies searched the home of Buck Knell Jr. on Monday who was on pretrial release from a pending case of evading peace officers. Deputies found two loaded handguns in a backpack Knell was wearing. In the home they found about 27 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sale, a short-barreled assault style rifle, and a loaded pistol. The rifle and two of the pistols were “ghost guns,” manufactured by Knell. He was charged with 11 felonies. The arrest happened near two learning centers and Kawana Springs Elementary School.
