The sexual assault case involving actor Nathan Chasing Horse has ties to Santa Rosa. The actor, who appeared in the movie “Dances With Wolves,” is behind bars and facing 19 felony charges in Nevada on suspicion of sexually assaulting underage indigenous girls. The Press Democrat recently acquired a copy of Chasing Horse’s arrest report from late January. It mentions Santa Rosa several times. The report says Chasing Horse arranged for one of his alleged victims to have a coming-of-age ceremony in Santa Rosa. The alleged victim claims she was raped inside Chasing Horse’s home in North Las Vegas in 2012, nine years after they first met. She was younger than 16-years-old at the time of the alleged rape.
