Healdsburg Police have arrested two men likely involved in stealing catalytic converters. Early Tuesday morning, an officer spotted a car cross the double yellow lines on Healdsburg Avenue near Lytton Springs Road and pulled it over. The officer saw multiple tools associated with stealing catalytic converters: reciprocating saws, a car jack, bolt cutters and an impactor. After detaining the suspects, the officers found a GPS device which had been set to five specific addresses in Healdsburg, most associated with potential catalytic converter targets. Also found was a picture of a removed catalytic converter on one of the suspect’s phones.
