A Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputy, who is facing possible state decertification, is also facing a gun charge. Records show, last month, correctional deputy Adam Marlowe was charged with possession of an assault weapon. The charge followed a domestic violence incident in January. Marlowe was temporarily suspended from the Sheriff’s Department in mid-February. Earlier this week, it was revealed that he is among 20 law enforcement officers who may be decertified by California’s law enforcement accreditation body. If Marlowe is decertified, he would no longer be allowed to carry a badge in California.
