Cloverdale Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who hit a pedestrian. It happened yesterday on the 400 block of East First Street while the pedestrian was walking westbound on the north shoulder. The driver accelerated after the collision and fled the scene continuing westbound toward Main Street. The pedestrian, a 30-year-old male, was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. The suspect’s vehicle is a white 2009-2010 Toyota Corolla (possibly XRS trim) with unique or distinctive custom red accents along the lower sides and around the wheel wells. Aside from missing its bumper vent grille, vehicle damage is unknown.
