Some Sonoma County residents will soon be contacted by Sonoma County social services officials regarding Medi-Cal benefits. The officials want to make sure residents don’t lost their benefits with the federal COVID-19 public health emergency coming to an end. The end of the public health emergency will require some Medi-Cal enrollees to provide additional information to the county before their coverage is renewed. About 133-thousand Sonoma County residents are enrolled in Medi-Cal, which provides coverage to low-income adults, children and families.
