A woman remains hospitalized after jumping into the Russian River to save her three-year-old child. The woman was rescued at a beach in Odd Fellows Park on Sunday afternoon. Firefighters say both a mother and father jumped into the river after their child became separated from them in the water. The father saved the child, but the mother was swept up in the current. She eventually ended up on the bank of the opposite side of the river. The nature of her injuries is not clear.
