The Sonoma County Office of Education has a new assistant superintendent. Louis Ganzler will oversee school safety efforts in the wake of the stabbing that left a student dead at Montgomery High School on March 1st. Ganzler is a Montgomery High School graduate and spent several days on campus following the stabbing. Ganzler recently served as the director of curriculum and instruction for the Healdsburg Unified School District. He will also oversee school community partnerships and college and career readiness efforts for the Sonoma County Office of Education.
