Pile Burns Occurring at Trione-Annadel State Park Until Mid-June

You may see smoke coming from Trione-Annadel State Park over the next few months. That’s because pile burns will be happening on occasion between now and June 15th. They will be under the direction of California State Parks and are designed to reduce fuel loads, improve wildlife habitats and provide other ecological benefits. Burning will depend on air quality and weather conditions. A few trails near the burn area, including parts of the Pig Flat Fire Road and Marsh and Ridge Trails, may be closed temporarily during burns. Smoke may be visible from the park between 9 AM and 6 PM on burn days.
