Geyserville hosted a springtime tradition on Sunday. About 500 people went to Draxton Wines, just south of town, for the 44th Geyserville May Day Festival. There was live music, performances from local dance groups, games for children, a rib cook-off, and other activities. A 15-year-old student from Geyserville New Tech Academy High School served as the festival ambassador. The Geyserville May Day Festival dates back to the 1920s.
