A man has been arrested on suspicion of leading Santa Rosa police on a wild chase while allegedly driving under the influence. Twenty-eight-year-old Ernesto Mendoza Beltran is accused of going at least 70-miles-per-hour on surface streets and side-swiping a pickup truck, then hitting a pair of parked cars on Saturday night. Beltran’s car rolled several times after the third crash and came to rest on its roof. He was not seriously injured. Beltran, who was initially wanted for speeding, is out of jail after posting bail on Sunday morning.
