More than a million Californians are due free money. The state has 750-million dollars in inflation relief payments that were never claimed. Those who didn’t activate their debit card were notified by mail. Seems many either thought the card wasn’t real, never got one or didn’t trust the bank. Even though the program is over, the Franchise Tax Board says people can still get their refunds by calling Money Network and following the prompts for “lost card.”
