A man who was freed from jail in Santa Rosa on Tuesday morning is back behind bars. Elijah Beck was rearrested in a supermarket parking lot Tuesday night, just a few hours after his release. He was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a man and trying to carjack two drivers. Beck was also accused of slashing a vehicle’s tires with a knife. His initial arrest was on suspicion of criminal trespassing. He was released with a citation and told to appear in court at a later date. The stabbing victim has a small wound to the upper arm.
