Teachers at Slater Middle School aren’t pleased after a meeting with Santa Rosa City Schools Superintendent Anna Trunnell. The group of veteran teachers and Trunnell met Monday for a so-called listening session about safety, following a brawl on the Slater campus on May 4th. Teachers and other staff members say up to 150 students were involved in a violent melee. The teachers left the meeting telling reporters Trunnell didn’t make any meaningful promises. She also didn’t commit to adding campus supervisors or revising disciplinary protocols.
