Cal Fire will be carrying out a prescribed burn at Sonoma Land Trust’s Laufenburg Ranch Preserve in Knights Valley on Thursday. The event is scheduled in northeastern Sonoma County from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in two areas of the property. The burn will be supervised by Cal Fire units and local resources. Smoke may be visible, but please do not to call 911 if you see it. The burn is weather permitting and will help to reduce fuels ahead of summer and increased fire danger.
