Santa Rosa firefighters dealt with two house fires Monday evening. First, firefighters responded to a bedroom fire in a home on the 5200 block of Beaumont Way. They put it out quickly with minimal damage. The fire was electrical in nature and originated at a plug-in air freshener. The second fire was in a home garage on Royal Place Manor. A fire sprinkler managed to extinguish most of the flames with firefighters taking care of the rest. That fire appeared to start from an energy storage battery. No injuries were reported in either fire.
