The controversial owner of six Subway sandwich franchises in the Bay Area could lose both of his restaurants in Petaluma. John Meza is facing eviction from two commercial property owners. In late May, both commercial property owners filed unlawful detainer complaints involving Meza in Sonoma County Superior Court. He is already being sued by the federal Department of Justice and is accused of wage theft by multiple ex-employees.
