Drivers from the North Bay will soon have to hand over a little bit more money to get into San Francisco. Golden Gate Bridge tolls are going up on July 1st. Bus and ferry rates are also increasing. All Golden Gate Bridge toll rates are rising by 25 cents. Pay as you go rates will be nine dollars, toll invoice rates will be nine-75, and carpool rates will be six-75. This is the latest rate hike in a multiyear toll increase program approved by the Golden Gate Bridge Board of Directors in March of 2019.
