A local developer is aiding the Elsie Allen High School Foundation. Bill Gallaher and his family donated one-million dollars to the foundation doubling their fundraising efforts for Elsie Allen High students. This will allow the foundation to provide $130,000 in scholarships each year. The foundation has been given grants from several groups including the Finley Foundation and Lawrence Amaturo, who owns KSRO. Fifty-two graduating Elsie High School Seniors were given scholarships this year. There were an additional 35 scholarships awarded to Elsie Allen alumni at Santa Rosa Junior College and other four-year colleges and universities.
