Detectives are investigating after a man was found dead in Downtown Healdsburg. The man was found dead in a parking lot a block west of Healdsburg Plaza at about 10:20 Monday morning. He has not been publicly identified and the cause of death is not clear. But, police believe he had been involved in several recent violent altercations. That includes assaults against workers at a nearby business, threatening a person with a hammer, and getting into fights with several other people. The people involved in those alleged fights are cooperating with police.
