Angie Sanchez Named as New Executive Director for Sonoma County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The Sonoma County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has hired a new executive director, filling a long vacant position. Angie Sanchez is now the second executive director for the group, after the first director left the position in 2009. Lack of funding has prevented the Sonoma County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce from hiring another executive director. However, funds from the American Rescue Plan Act obtained through a partnership with Small Business Equity & Recovery allowed them to hire Sanchez and an assistant for two-and-a-half years. Sanchez served as a board member of the chamber from 2017 to 2022. She also founded VIDA Cultural Arts; she was in charge of programs for Corazon Healdsburg and the Sonoma Community Center; and has served on a number of government committees.
