Corte Madera Dog Saved Using Narcan

A quick thinking Marin Animal Services Officer saved a dog’s life by using Narcan. The dog’s owner called 911 when the animal collapsed in Corte Madera, after discovering that their prescription medication bottle had been chewed through and the dog was acting strange. Marin County Responding Animals Services Officer Chelsea Myers says she called an emergency vet, who told her to give the dog Narcan. Minutes later, the dog was fine. Because of the instant results, Marin Humane says all animal services officers will now be equipped with Narcan.
