Santa Rosa is both a good and bad place for renters. WalletHub ranked 182 cities across the country, looking at each city’s rental market, affordability and quality of life. Santa Rosa ranked towards the middle of the list at 83 overall. We get poor marks for our rental market and affordability but make up for it with high scores for quality of life. The highest ranked California city was Irvine at 9th overall. Overland Park in Kansas got the top spot while Detroit, Michigan came in last.
