Runners will be battling the heat this weekend at the Wine Country Half Marathon on Saturday and Sunday. Five-thousand runners will take part in the 19th-annual Wine Country Half Marathon and Rosé 5K. The Rosé 5k will take place first on Saturday at 8 AM, beginning and finishing in Sonoma Plaza. Then the Half Marathon on Sunday will start in Napa at 7 AM at Cuvaison Winery and will finish at Sonoma Plaza. Expect road closures along the routes during race times.
