Climber on Jenner Beach Rescued by Sheriff’s Helicopter

Henry-1 helps rescue a climber who got stuck on a cliff in Jenner. On Sunday afternoon, someone called the Sonoma County Sheriff’s office saying they were climbing a steep cliff and realized they could not get down. Henry-1 responded and managed to rescue the climber using a 100ft long line and a “horse collar” rescue device. The victim was rescued and brought to a nearby beach where fire and medical personnel were waiting. It isn’t clear if the climber suffered any injuries.
